>About me

>hi! My name is Michał, I'm a games computing student at university of lincoln. I enjoy playing video games and making them is my favourite hobby. I have started making video games soon after I moved to UK in 2014. When I started primary school in this new environment I have quickly been introduced to Skratch. A block based visual programming language used to create projects such as video games and animations that can then be hosted on Skratch website. During my time in primary school I have made multiple games using Skratch before moving to HTML and CSS when I created some basic websites. At around the same time I also started making text based adventure games in VBScript and Batch. Neither of those can be called relevant today or when I started using them, however that's not something I really cared about. My interest in programming has greatly increased when I started to use unity sometime in 2017. Since then I have put a lot of my time to learning how to use this engine and to this day most of games I've made were developed in unity. Even though unity C# is my go to programming language I have still continued to learn new languages like python and c++ as well as engines like Game maker and Unreal.

>Programming is not the only thing that defines me. outside of programming and video games I also enjoy cinema. I'm the type of person who many would consider a cinephile, on average I go to cinema twice a week. There's many interesting movies coming out every week and I think all deserve a watch. Even if they're terrible. Talking about terrible movies. I am the president elect of terrible film society, where as the name suggest members willingly watch terrible films. Another hobby I very much enjoy is hiking. Walking long distances is something that I find to be therapeutic for me. And honestly that's the only way I get my exercise.
me This is me (:
